How would you give your greetings to the Blessed Virgin Mary on September 8?

It's September 8.  I've been thinking of Our Lady in the present context and how would I be able to show my appreciation for her on her birthday.  She's perhaps close to that simple but grace-filled person you may have seen with their son.  A laugh or two were exchanged, the boy smiling intently at her.

Also, unlike any other, she is the mother of Our Lord.  She is the queen mother.  If you remember Solomon, the son of David, and the King of Israel after David had Bathsheba on his right side.  She ruled as the queen mother.  In Scott Hahn's book, Hail Holy Queen, the queen mother was the gebirah or the "great lady".

Jesus, the son of David, is also the King of Heaven and Earth.  Following the Davidic form, Mary is the queen mother.   When I learned this, I instantly thought, "That makes so much sense."

On both occasions, a rose is a sweet gesture of honor.  A bouquet of roses is more.  A rosary as a spiritual bouquet is especially sweet since she helps as we honor her by aiding us to meditate about the life of Christ compared to that tense game on your smart phone.  Both a beggar and a theologian can do this.  An offered sacrifice will add to the sweet scent of honest unconditional prayer.

Bringing your own mother or your own child something special as a gesture to Our Lady is admirable as well or a contribution to the poor.  Because this great lady sees you too, like when she noticed the wine was finished at the wedding in Cana, and she asked a few to do whatever Jesus tells them.
