Apparently there are satanic rosaries and other religious items being given to people.
In an article written by Minnie Agdeppa of CBCPNews, the Libera Nox chief exorcist of the Diocese of Novaliches Fr. Antonio Nonato Legazpi cautioned the public of these items because these, "rosaries you might be using could actually be infested or cursed."
He explained that these supposedly religious items were handed out by a Satanic group called the Illuminati and that these were prayed over "consecrating them to evil so that whoever uses it will be followed by evil spirits."
Philippe de Guzman also of the Diocese of Novaliches Office of Exorcism said that one particular rosary was confiscated, "from a recent infestation." Although some similar rosaries were confiscated from other demonic infestations before this recent one, this most current incident was said "to be the reason why an evil spirit resided in the room of the client, causing disturbances in the house."
De Guzman added that the most Satanic rosaries have additional symbols that are strange and not easily seen by the untrained person. Legazpi however said that a few have no additional symbols or carvings but are nonetheless cursed through a ritual.
As a ritual was done to infest it, Legazpi said that an exorcism should be done on the item if it has paranormally manifested itself. Holy Water is not enough for this infestation but then there's a prescribed rite done by priests for this which does not require an exorcist.
Some telltale signs the rosary may be cursed are:
- Usually these satanic rosaries are made of plastic
- It has a snake that goes around the cross
- It has a pentagram which is a five-pointed upside-down star inside a circle
- It has a sun with rays emanating from it
